Austral Monsoon continue their support for Ambulance Victoria, with (8) new bifolds and (2) new automated gates being installed into two new stations in Bendigo / Strathdale. Once operational, the two new stations will allow the decommissioning of the existing ambulance station at the Bendigo Hospital, and therefore enable the future $450m Bendigo Hospital redevelopment to begin.

Bendigo CBD is progressing well with two bifolds installed and the balance to be completed shortly. Both stations will have bifolds installed and glazed by end of May.

Austral Monsoon has recently secured the repair and service contract for roller shutters with the City of Newcastle Council.

Working throughout the city of Newcastle, Austral Monsoon will supply repair services to existing Steel and Aluminium roller shutters and the complete replacement of rollers that are beyond repair.

Austral Monsoon has recently secured the contract to supply and install the overhead door package on Stage 3 of Ulladulla High School.

Working with Joss Constructions Austral Monsoon will supply a number of Steel and Aluminium Roller Shutters along with (2) Sectional Bi-Folds Doors.

Works will Commence late April.

Austral Monsoon recently carried out the much needed replacement  of the steel roller shutter located on one of the storage units at Sydney’s Bondi Beach.

The original roller shutter (supplied and installed by others) was of steel construction and was not handling the highly corrosive environment.

Austral Monsoon was contacted by local council to provide a door that would best suit the current environment. With many years of experience in the supply of roller shutter products into these situations, Austral Monsoon supplied and installed a double anodised aluminium roller shutter which is much more suited to handle this environment.

Austral Monsoon recently completed preventative maintenance  work to the Austral Monsoon 2EA Aluminium Roller Shutters fitted to the NSW Police – Tactical Response Vehicles.

The aluminium roller shutters fitted to the side of these vehicles are  critcal to the function performed by the Tactical Response Unit.

Austral Monsoon Newcastle has successful tendered and negotiated the supply and installation of the roller shutter package for the new train support facility at Greta.

The new facility, currently under construction by Abi- Group, will be the Train Support Facility to service and provision the Pacific National coal freight business which is a major project under the NSW Governments planning and infrastructure program.

Austral Monsoon will provide over (10) steel roller shutters from it’s roller shutter product range.

Working closely with group company Ansa Doors - Austral Monsoon has recently completed and commissioned the installation Sectional Bi-Fold Doors for the Brisbane City Councils new Sherwood Bus Depot.

The Sectional Bi-Folds Doors produced by Austral Monsoon are 12m wide x 5.5m high, electrically operated – (16) in total.

This project demonstrates once again the Austral Monsoon commitment to provide well “Engineered Door Solutions” to the industrial / commercial door market.

Working with Taylor Construction Group Austral Monsoon will provide electrically operated Steel Roller Shutters.

The Cyclone Testing Station at JCU have issued test report numbers TS774 and TS820 covering a range of tests and this test data provides the basis of an engineered roller shutter solution to meet high range wind events that occur in Northern Australia and specifically those associated with the extreme requirements nominated in the Design Guidelines for Queensland Public Cyclone Shelters 2006.

Austral Monsoon has successfully tendered and negotiated the nation wide rollout of roller shutters for the Coles Group.

A total of (113) supermarket stores throughout NSW, NT, QLD, SA, TAS, VIC and WA will have new aluminium roller shutters fitted to the store entry – over (400) roller shutters supplied Australia wide.

Austral Monsoon undertook a thorough tender review process conducted by the Coles Group and is well positon to deliver the project to the high standards expected by Coles.

Store rollout will commence immediately.

Austral Monsoon has tendered and successfully negotiated the supply and installation of (24) steel and aluminium roller shutters to the new Bega Market Place shopping complex.

The complex will comprise of a new Woolworths Supermarket as well as the regions first Big W and Dick Smith stores.

Austral Monsoon recently completed the new Dick Smith and Big W warehouse and distribution centre development at Hoxton Park, in Sydney’s Greater West.

The Dick Smith facility consisted of (39) Austral Monsoon steel roller shutters throughout the 51,700 square metre complex and Big W consisted of (92) steel roller shutters throughout the 89,000 square metre facility.

Both warehousing facilities ran independent of each with separate contract terms and project managers.

The project was on a very tight delivery program which was delivered on time by Austral Monsoon’s manufacturing and project management staff.

With Austral Monsoon’s international footprint and exposure, we have again successfully negotiated the supply of Steel and Aluminium roller shutters into Papua New guinea.
