Austral Monsoon "H13" 100mm Steel Roller Shutter

Applications

The H13 steel roller shutter is a robust access door, for building perimeter security or storage applications. It is typically used in warehouses, factories, distribution and transport facilities, stadiums, garages, plant rooms, remote buildings, hospitals, council facilities, sports grounds and for security applications.

Features

  1. Curtain - Constructed using 100 x 0.6 mm / 100 x 0.8 mm or 100 x 1.0mm interlocking slats in galvanised steel roll formed in house. Slat thickness depending on Opening Width and Security requirements The slats are retained in position using nylon end clips fitted with nylon rivets.   2. Bottom Rail - This is a rigid extruded aluminium section, with a PVC seal. An optional steel angle bottom rail can also be provided. For more information, refer to technical information detail below.
  3. Side Guides (Track) - Side Guides are fabricated from galvanised steel channel roll, formed in house at Austral Monsoon, and completed with splayed tops. Side guides size is 75 x 35 x 2.0mm or 100 x 35 x 2.0mm. Guide Type is dependent on the opening width. Where required or specifies for your project, the side guides are securely fixed to fixing angles, or posts of size and thickness to suit the shutter and application.   4. Roller Drum - Fabricated from mild steel or galvanised tube with the outside diameter and thickness appropriate to the size and application of the steel roller shutter.
  5. Bracket Plates - Fabricated from 8mm or 10mm mild steel in sizes to suit the height and width of the opening and engineered tube size.
  6. Operation - Either chain operated or electrically operated. Steel roller shutters requiring electrical operation can be activated through a variety of control devices to suit application or your preference.
  7. Door Locking - Shootbolts are fitted internally to accept padlocks for chain operated steel roller shutters only. Locking is not recommended for electrically operated steel roller shutters.
  8. Finishes - Galvanised steel items are left in their raw form. Powder coating (in standard available colours) is an optional extra, and is applied using our in house powder coat line.
  9. Vision / Ventilation - As an optional extra, slats can be provided with perforations or slots, to provide ventilation or vision through the curtain. For more information, refer to technical information detail below.
  10. Hoods / Fascias - Are available as optional extras to suit the application. Hoods are manufactured in house at Austral Monsoon from 0.5 mm galvanised steel sheet. Fascias are fabricated using 75 x 35 x 2.0 mm galvanised steel channel for the perimeter frame and interlocking galvanised steel roll formed slats, as an infill panel.
